Dear Curtis Hinkle,

I have read with interest your article on will the real Cheryl Chase (and all of those aliases) please stand up. I wish they would all sit down, but that is beside the point. Thus, I have created a quiz, which maybe you can put up, so that perhaps "these people" can all answer some of these inquiries, so we may get a better understanding of who "they" are and where "they" are coming from. They will need to think about these questions.

Thanks,

QUIZ for Bo Laurent - Cheryl Chase (and other aliases)

1) Why, as Bo Laurent, did you co-write a chapter in a book on Deviance (1, p.479), where you refer to ISNA's director as "the appearance of a leader" without even mentioning in the entire chapter that you, Bo Laurent, were that leader OR without mentioning the name Cheryl Chase at all?

a) I like to make ghost appearances
b) to protect the guilty
c) to protect the innocent
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

2) Why in this book on Deviance (1) did you say that the surgery ISNA's director had, left her "without... labia minora", whereas in this other article (2) it was stated that what was "thought was a small penis" had "an opening along the bottom"?

a) I didn't think others would know that an opening along the bottom of the phallus is embryologically inconsistent with the presence of labia minora
b) I thought that when the small penis was re-labelled a clitoris that others would still not know that an opening along the bottom would be embryologically inconsistent with the presence of labia minora
c) Bo Laurent and Cheryl Chase are the same person but have different personalities
d) If I didn't tell the story about labia minora, I couldn't gather support from FGM (infibulation) victims
e) all of the above
f) none of the above

3) Why weren't we informed (2) what this opening along the bottom of the phallus was?

a) If I said it was a urethral opening, it would contradict the other report that "my penis" was considered as "lacking a urethra" (3)
b) I did not want people thinking I had hypospadias
c) I didn't think that having a persisting urogenital sinus would be believable
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

4) Why is it often stated that you had separate urethral and vaginal openings (e.g., vaginal opening behind her urethra"(4), but in another description (5), "opening a vagina" is part of what the surgeons did?

a) that reference is in the one which has me as having XX male syndrome and without a vaginal opening, they wouldn't believe that I had XX male syndrome.
b) I am an autogynephillic transsexual in denial
c) I didn't usually state that they opened the vagina because my actual agenda has not been as anti-surgical as I have pretended it to be.
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

5) Why are you now with the Accord Alliance which talks about surgeries at 2-6 months of age (6)?

a) because when I was with ISNA, I was the type of transphobic transsexual who pretends they are intersexed as was described by Sharon Preves (7)
b) I'm a business person and insurance company $ motivate me.
c) I want to keep it anonymous that I am in a group which allows or encourages support from surgeons.
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

6) Why in one report (8) were you listed as fertile, and in another as infertile because of being gonadectomized (9)?

a) I am not intersexed
b) I don't have the intersexed condition which I have claimed to have
c) I am a cross-dresser
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

7) Why here did you have the entire clitoris removed (1), but here you had surgery only to reduce the size of your clitoris (10)?

a) I did not think that people would connect that Bo Laurent and Cheryl Chase could both be writing about Parker House rolls where in one case the entire clitoris was removed (11) and in the other case, only reduced in size (12).
b) my mission at ISNA with those with FGM would have been undermined if I talked too much of only clitoral reduction.
c) it helps explain the anorgasmia
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

8) At ISNA, why did you crusade against external feminizing surgeries SO much but not crusade against DE-feminizing surgeries, such as removing the uterus and Fallopian tubes with someone with Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome?

a) I could care less if otherwise normal men menstruated through their penis.
b) At ISNA I used feminizing surgeries as a smokescreen for my better agenda at Accord Alliance - which is more "disordered", can be more "surgeon friendly" in an anonymous way where it counts ($). I am not very anti-surgery.
c) Internal genitals and DE-feminization is not relevant for phallic surgical fetishism
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

9) Do you think that the Accord Alliance will be better than ISNA?

a) well ISNA is defunct, so I would say yes
b) neither are about gender, so I would say no
c) Accord Alliance is more surgically and pathologically oriented, so yes.
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

10) How do you feel about OII as an intersex group?

a) They are the type of group I had wanted to found when I founded ISNA
b) I am jealous because OII is worldwide in scope, and ISNA was a U.S. invention.
c) I will go with "the 5th" on this question
d) all of the above
e) none of the above
