OII
OII wishes to express its solidarity with other advocates working to preserve the genital integrity of children.  It is the position of OII that modifications of one's genitals should be a decision made by the individual concerned in consultation with a medical practitioner who provides the patient with all the necessary information to make an informed decision.  We suggest that you check out the following pages to learn more about circumcision.
The Circumcision Information and Resource Pages are an Internet resource that provide you with information about all aspects of the genital surgery known as circumcision.

CIRP is essentially divided into two parts: The Circumcision Reference Library contains technical material, medical and historical articles, and statistics. The Circumcision Information Pages contain a more readable collection of information, suitable for parents and educators.

This site has links to information on the rights of the child, religious issues, and related issues.
Students for Genital Integrity (SGI) is a group committed to ending the pratice of forced genital cutting; a human rights abuse perpetuated on children by adults. This abuse is often done in order to conform the body to a particular society's concepts of aesthetics and normality.
