Let's play strange Science and strange Psychology:

It is funny the way art mimics real life and then in turn life mimics art. I want to explore for a moment why people like Alice Dreger and J Michael Bailey and a few other “Medical experts”

Seem so hell bent on preserving some sexually dimorphic status quo, In this article I hope to illustrate the sort of underlying images that breed this need to keep this status quo, in the follow up article “Divine Monsters” I will take a close look at the psychology that is embodied by the likes of Dreger and Bailey. The real issue is not terminology (As Dreger would maintain) but the thinking behind it. What is a “Disorder of Sex Development” I think you may find the obvious answer to that question is unsettling. None of us are really human in the eyes of these people, but something that they seriously cannot comprehend without a sense of threat. The point being that when they regard a new born child as some outlandish if not “alien” threat, the obvious question is “Who is deluded, who is mentally ill here?” You have to ask yourself why these people want to invest so much in controlling the lives of intersex children, How can a new born baby, that is defenseless and simply alive, but not having the right kind of genitalia, nothing more threaten people like Dreger and her ilk so much? (No matter what Dreger claims about caring for intersex children, she feels that same irrational fear as many of her collegues)

Alice Dreger’s Blogs become ever more surreal today she defines “intersex” as follows:

“Thus, there are lots of ways one can be intersex. The two ways most people have heard of are (1) being born with “ambiguous genitalia” (for example, having a phallus that is something between a penis and a clitoris) or (2) having 5-alpha-reductase deficiency, the condition of the protagonist Cal in Jeffrey Eugenides’ novel Middlesex. A person with 5-alpha-reductase deficiency is born looking female but develops more along the masculine pathway at puberty. But, like I said, there are lots of other ways to be intersex. Some people with intersex look typically female on the outside but have some internal male organs, or vice versa. Not all types are noticeable at birth. No one is born with all the parts of males and females; that is physiologically impossible. The majority of people with intersex conditions have male-typical (XY) or female-typical (XX) sex chromosomes. “

As usual there are those who do not agree with her, like me who actually has 5 alpha and I do not like being told I should be “male”. But then this is the typical Dreger approach, it can often be found to be the case that when people object to something she will just turn round and say “But this is good for you and you are lying” She Calls herself an intersex activist, well one word I now think better describes her is the one word she hates the most.

“Interloper” though I prefer “interfering norm born” personally (I can think of other phrases) But we have to keep this “polite” I am a circus freak who deserves to be gasses and she is the lice little lebensborn who should be regarded as genetically superior. (Well I have my own opinions of that).

But hey let’s change the record a little attacking Alice Dreger for her love of the “penis” is not really the best way to spend one’s life. The above is typical of her, actually predictable, but when you read the small print it gets very interesting.

On the “man” bit (Just to conclude it as I have no desire to continue pressing a point Dreger will just ignore anyway)

“But in general, I'm not interested in spending more time on nomenclature for sex anomalies and sex variations. Nomenclature is, at some level, a problem of luxury. Given a choice between spending energy on trying to get the perfect term or trying to save perfectly healthy clitoral tissue from well-meaning pediatric surgeons, I'll go for the later.”

That is clitoral tissue of those “DSD”s assigned “Female” if you are assigned “Male” then it is a different surgically messy story she keeps quiet about. Her collegues do not want to get sued (There is a case in Germany that makes that prospect more real, so I think her man making colleges had better be prepared to face court at some point)

At present the thinking on the part of the medical profession (At the instigation of people like Dreger) is to define a condition by a sex and hammer the child into conformity. Dreger Followed the easily discredited line of reasoning from Julienne Imperatio Mc Ginley that all with 5 alpha are “Male” I maintain that this is simply an act of punitive control. If I do not fit Dreger’s delusion about 5 alpha well that is just too tough for her. But I am not going to allow her “DSD” protocols to interfere with my healthcare. Basically she knows where she can shove her precious “Masculine outcome”. I am not playing by it so deal with it.

To the main issue.

Alice Dreger represents the truth about Radical Feminism and Phalocrats , they are as bad as each other. Crying about equality and equal justice but the way they treat intersex children is at best unethical at worst depraved, do you want proof ?

Well read the one Truth Alice does speak:

“A couple of people at my Kinsey talk pressed me about the terminology and asked me to work more on trying to find a new, better term. What about, for example, "variations of sex development," as some have suggested? Honestly, I don't see that term flying in the medical system; I've asked about it, and it doesn't go anywhere. Part of the reasonable fear among medical professionals is over-de-pathologizing sex anomalies.”

To translate that there are in the medical profession penises and vaginas (Philosophically speaking the inclusion of a nervous system and a body in the description of Alice’s friends is open to question) decree that “Disorder of Sexual Development” has to be pathologizing because the world has to be made in the image of said penises and vaginas, what is happening is that intersex people are being reduced to bits of meat by bits of meat. But we cannot says that because said bits of meat (The penises and vaginas) who actually do the reducing are respectable human beings with PhD’s in medicine.

That is a bit of a one sided thing really, well no, go to the Gombe Reserve in Africa (As Arcus who fund ISNA do) And watch the dominant males and females. Who conduct themselves in a manner that is not unlike the evolutionary degenerates that are now nothing more than a walking penis or vagina with attached scalpel to “artistically carve all in their image”. The dominant male of our chimps and dominant female act just like Bailey and Dreger when it comes to collective control freakery.

Enter Strange Science and Strange Psychology which Dreger considers herself (Wrongly) enlightened about.

The “male” want to eliminate the competition (Bailey, Greenberg 2001) the dominant female wants to control the Harem for her male ape to dip into. It sort of gets a little obvious. Given that the average IQ of most intersex people is actually higher than that of Dreger and Bailey and the other penises and vaginas. That says something does it not.

The penises and Vaginas (Rad Feminists and Phalocrats wearing white coats) Are the evolutionary mistake. And I am not joking either. Because their obsession with conformity is an evolutionary strategy gone bad. Why else would past literature on intersex people describe intersex people as “Mentally retarded” (This was untrue) or “Imbecilic” (Again untrue). Because the penises and vaginas of the day actually believed that a penis was intelligent, a vagina less intelligent but handy for making the tea and babies and anything else was just beyond the pale (And in the late 1930’s ended up gassed).

Believe it or not they did and still do this pathologizing in the name of evolution. But you will have to excuse me if I ask awkward questions like “How it is intersex people still somehow manage to exhibit more intelligence than their medically trained tormentors?” could it be that sexual dimorphism in humans is edging towards the obsolete? That is not science fiction because when you look at it reproductive strategies eventually adapt to the environment of the species using them. An Excellent book by Joan Roughgarden describes all that very well.

I may as well be honest, I believe that intersex people are not disorders but human beings who are given the blessing of a potentially higher intelligence, which usually comes about because of the extreme social pressures they are forced to live with and differences in the way hormones are handled (The penises and Vagina’s cannot deny that because they based their own internal prejudices on the same social pressures and social compounds).

You may think that sounds like science fiction, but then in the times when evolution was the big root of prejudice. Some commentators went beyond the human stereotypes of the blond man and woman with huge genitals and spoke of something that was androgynous, resembled a fetus and had a level on intelligence that was beyond comprehension.

That looks remarkably like an intersex baby and how they may grow up. Are the penises and vaginas actually terrified of evolution rendering them obsolete.

Let’s entertain this for a moment. Are the penises and vaginas really out to eliminate the inevitable? Even with genetic engineering to make the “Perfect body and mind” the end result will still probably be an uber intelligent fetus like being with an ultra intelligent mind. The penises and vaginas are terrified of that, in that limited nervous system they have. What actually motivates the eugenicist is the very opposite of what they claim, they do not fear humanity sinking into some evolutionary pit (As many commentators and writers in the past claimed). What they are scared of is the asexual super intelligence that may emerge with equal probability from either technical advancement or evolution being left to it’s own devices. That British Sci Fi “Divine monster” (Americans went for cowboys and Indians in space) that is an evolutionary next step. Is a subconscious image that scares the crap out of the penis and vagina in the lab going “Oh it is a socio medical emergency”

Alice Dreger has a superiority complex but in truth she is little more than a replicating lack bred that is left behind by evolution. Despite the references to strange science (Something Dreger thinks she is the darling of) and science fiction. The hard truth is, these “Medical professionals” possess what can only be described as an atavistic need to ensure the status quo is kept, that status quo is human sexual dimorphism and the social hierarchies built around it. The Archetype of an asexual fetus like being with an intelligence that they cannot even comprehend scares them. That image has appeared in science fiction as the “Threat” since the genre was invented. Also many of the science fiction writers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries were card carrying eugenicists.

The theme varies but the “Step after the next” in terms of evolution was this big brained baby with no genitals. I suspect this is the image many penises and vaginas actually think about in their limited nervous systems when they scream “Sociomedical emergency”. Anything that confronts sexual dimorphism and shows intelligence or reminds them of “Baby big brain” scares them.

Even transgendered folks scare them, while technically not intersexed they still have the capacity to terrify the penises and vaginas. Look at those transgendered academics Bailey is terrified of. Was it a hate campaign or was it an evolutionary psychologist facing his most primal fear, that of being rendered obsolete. The fury with which he and his fellow penises and vaginas fly at people like Lyn Conway and Joan Roughgarden is telling. Conway is a well recognized genius and Roughgarden has an insight into evolution Bailey cannot even begin to comprehend.

It is of course all rather silly while I firmly believe that this is what motivates the penises and vaginas (And I am now playing to the gallery Mike) are motivated by fears of evolutionary extrapolations that are ingrained into the human psyche. Say the words “Flying Saucer” and Alien” and what do we find? An androgynous fetus or child like being. Or read Philip K Dick and what have we, the same from religion this time with a curious name SPOOK!

Now to the serious point.

It does illustrate the level on non intelligence these people are working at. Let’s face it carving up a child and making their lives hell because of some fear of an Archetype, that may describe some evolutionary change. Is a bit deranged to put it mildly. Let’s be honest about it an intersex child is nothing more than that, an intersex child. We are talking about defenseless children here. We are not talking about aliens or evolutionary threats. Even if in the future humanity does end up as big brained baby, it does not change the fact that these surgeons appear quite mad to be motivated by fear of such an archetype. Dreger (With her circus freak show word games) only panders to the very fears I have described here. I am intersexed and I can assure you I am a human being. And Alice if you choose to quote this article (I suspect you may want to when you have thought about it a little) Please include this bit at the end.

To Date I have felt like an Alien, a horror movie monster, you name it, born on Halloween with 5 alpha, I am prime material for the Dreger freakshow. But I have had enough of it now.
