Jeannie Kay Mebus Hinkle, 68, of 26 Wildwood Court, died Friday, February 20, 2009, at her home. Born May 15, 1940, in El Paso, TX, she was the daughter of the late William Clyde and Ruby Inez McCular Mebus. She was a former lab technician at Milliken and Company and was a former member of the National Organization for Women. She attended the local Christian Science Church.
Survivors include her husband and loving companion for 30 years, Curtis Eugene Hinkle; two daughters, Landya McCafferty of New Hampshire, and Arienne Boyer of Virginia; a son, Galen Boyer of Massachusetts; a brother, Stephen Mebus of Virginia; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and her cherished pets, Sensen and Chocolat. She was predeceased by a son, Ashley Boyer.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
